Puddin Momma!

My mom is the owner of CBC Photography. Over time she has shocked and even brought me to tears with the great memories that she has caught.

CBC stands for Clayton, Buck, and Cheyenne. Did you expect a grandmother to come up with such a wonderful name for her business. I LOVE it, although I am not quite sure what she will do when Claire or I have another child hehe.

I am not sure of the exact month but a few back CC was entered into a beauty contest. My mom did the same for me when I was a little baby and I won some type of award but who can remember that? Well for the contest you have to create your child a portfolio and the photos below were the ones my mom put in CC's/Puddins album for review.

The beauty contest was definitely not my cup of tea and its mostly because I don't agree with how aggressive the parents get with the competition and make it a chore for the children. Thankfully I did not bump into any mothers like that at this show. This event was for the all natural beauty and really what else do you really need to do to a 6 month old to make them beautiful. They are already!

We had to bring both Tater and my nephew, Monkey. NOT COOL! These rug rats had me wanting to hang them from the rafters ended up in time out several times. I had to bribe them with cookies that I stole from the sign in table.

Well Puddin walked on stage and it was like everyone knew she was the winner. I mean duh she was the most beautiful baby there. I am not bias at all lol! All in all she placed very well and she did win in the Portfolio division. Way to go mom for taking such great shots.

Caught a big Tater Fish!

I want you to know that the men folk squatters in my house were so very proud of themselves for out smarting the Tater man. What they don't seem to realize is that he WILL be bigger than them one day! LOL

Appliances A-plentiful

I am excited to say that our washer worries are over.

After some searching and lots of help we found a great second hand washer! I couldn't be happier. I know that must sound crazy but you should see the pile of clothes I have in the laundry room. Those boys of mine go through their outfits like mr divas.

We plan to put the washer into the debt snowball even though at the end of the month it will get paid off or mostly. If we do it this way we are holding ourselves accountable and have a record of payments. Mr Randolph's father knows the seller of the washer so we feel great about the buy and the fact that it will have a one year warranty helps. The other businesses only offered 90 days.

I know this buy is not exactly what Dave Ramsey would advise us to do but we could not pass it up and hopefully it does not become an issue to pay it off. I feel confident about it but I worry over everything.

On another note our dishwasher has also been broke for a year. Sad news although we have been using it as a drying rack. This has sucked because everyone hates washing dishes in my house, even the Tater man. He and his daddy much prefer filling the dishwasher and on most occasions are happy to do it.

Along with the washer we will be unloading a dishwasher from the same man. We got it for nothing and are very thankful for this blessing.

It's amazing how much God really is watching over my family. I pray everyday that he will continue blessing our lives but I know only through trials will my family persevere.

To use or not to use....

Our Murphy account is the question?

Unfortunately as soon as we get our Murphy fund set up something in the house breaks. Mr Randolph and I are thankful for the fact that we have the cushion just wandering if we should use it already. I mean we haven't even gotten the checks/debit cards in the mail to even use the account.

I do find that I am not freaking out about it though. You all are probably wondering if I took happy pills but that is not the case. I feel somewhat secure. I know that I will be able use someones washing machine at least until we can replace ours. I am learning to take a step back and breathe.

I realize things will break but now I know I have options. We should have extra money at the end of the month to get a new washer and I don't mind waiting that long if it means we can make a great decision on the right purchase.

We don't really want to shell out 400 dollars on a new machine. Mostly because when we move again we would like to just leave it in the condo. The washer and dryer are located up stairs and a real (pardon my French) bitch to move.

So starting today I am shouting out to my local crowd to see if they know of respectable second hand shops or someone wanting to get rid of their washer for a reasonable price.

If we don't have to use the Murphy account I will be all to happy but if we do then that is what it is there for, right?
