Did you think I was kidding?!? The Potato and his cousin Monkey got their very own lazy boyz for Christmas! Boy that Santa was great to them huh!? Well Maw has a direct line to Santa and she got them all set up with the best seat in the house!
DH was a little(alot) jealous that his son got a chair before he did so I guess the first thing on the list when we get a bigger house is a big boy lazy boy chair just for him!
I also love the fact that the boys got different chairs. Their personalities are SO different as are their families. Even still they are great chairs and mighty comfy. Potato watches his tartoons and weeds his boogs in the morning in his chair!
Thanks again Santa(Maw) for such a great gift!

2nd Annual Friends Christmas!
I have to say that we are very thankful to be surrounded by the ones we love most this year. Also we realize that as the years go by true friendships grow and because of that I am lucky.
This years party was incredible. Although we were missing Mr T(Dr Shipleys Hubby) we tried to do our best and celebrate for him. Thankfully he did finally make it home for Christmas. He has done his service for our country and now he is home with his loving wife in time for their one year anniversary.
We had a few new people this year and boy was that exciting. The Guillots and the O'Neals were able to see the craziness that is the Friends Christmas. We also had my SIL there all dolled up with no sign of momminess on her!
From the left(SIL, Guillot, Nanny, Thevis, Me, Dr Shipley, Lee(O'Neal to be!))
When the crowd thinned a little the party really went crazy. The Crown Royal Reserve that DH got this year helped loosen up SIL and she let her inner silly out and we were quite entertained. It was only her second time drinking and we all had fun tending to her craziness.

The menu was a huge variety of things. We had Gumbo(perfect for cold weather), potato salad, shrimp cocktail, hummus dip, bread and the desserts were insanely good. Dr Shipley made her signature Candy Cane Martinis and the boys were not ashamed to carry around their martini glass rimmed with peppermint with pink deliciousness!
Guillots
After a little socializing and pigging out we exchanged gifts. Potato was of course spoiled rotten by all his Aunts and Uncles! I know that child will never want for anything with all these people in his life.

Ms Thevis got a crocheted goat for Christmas. Yeah you heard me right, a GOAT. She has been wanting one as a pet but knowing that she can't have one she was more than happy to get one specially made for her. She was wearing a sweater dress with pockets so Lord Gimli(the goat) road around in her pocket all night! ;-)!!!
Thevis
Potato's Nanny made sure to get him a great gift. He got a portable dvd player and oh boy did he(I) freak out! Let's just say traveling will be a breeze with Leap Frog playing for him.

I have to say that this past year has been the hardest yet for DH and I. Surgery, bronchiolitis, ear infections, teeth growing, dishwasher breaking, hot water heater went out, and Potato had to have his first stitch this week.
GOD....I know you can't fix all of these problems but I wanted to thank all of your littles elves in our lives that make these trials a little easier.
My wish list:
- Healthy family----NO SURGERIES
- Healthy house----NO MAJOR APPLIANCES BREAKING
- A new preschool for Potato
- Puppy
- Relationships to grow stronger
I know that is a bit of a hard list but I know you have the means! LOL.

Oh Christmas Tree!

So last year I had the great idea or well I stole an idea from Better Home and Gardens! Last year I took a whole bunch of photos that were printed out and just stuck them all over the tree. I LOVED it but this year we topped that and made homemade frames.

What do you think?
My tree always gets an uproar because people come in and HAVE to find their picture(S). If they don't see it right away they panic! Followed by me taking their hand and guiding them to their own little memory. It's a very special thing to the Randolph family and I am sure the pictures will grow and who knows I may have a photo wreath next year!

Very Bad Blogger!

Hi guys! I am sorry I have been off the radar for a while. After Potato's birthday at the beginning of November I just could not find the time nor the want to post about my life.
I know I must sound like a bah-hum-bug but this time of year reminds me more of the ones that are no longer in my life. It also reminds me like it may you of the crazy people that would kill to get that barbie or truck.....I did most of my shopping on-line this year for that very reason!
Potato is turning into a little chatter box and I am shocked and proud everyday when he opens his mouth. DH sneezed today and with out a pause Potato said "Bess Wu!" I mean seriously how proud would you be...I was apparently so proud I snatched him off the ground and did a few twirls. Think I might of scared him ;-)!
I do have a lot to write about but that will come with time. For now I just wanted to say hi to all my loyal readers and thank you to the ones that sent me an email concerned about me!
