I am a little late on this post but who cares. You know you love the cuteness that I bring to you! Since we did Halloween with my nephew again we wanted to coordinate. What better than to have a cowboy and an Indian?
Potato would go up to get candy and I would tell him to say "Trick or Treat." He would say "Pick a Peet"...same thing lol. He would then pick up his pow-pow and hold up the candy giver. They were very scared and handed over all their candy.
We had a blast and can't wait for next year. We may dress all three of them up like M & M's!!!!

My Arts!
Here are my latest pieces. You can tell I am a beginner but really....who cares. It makes me happy after a long day at work to sit and color. Let me know what you think!
I have such a great teacher, my MIL! I still have to learn the basics of color mixing and my perspective is a little off as well.
DH is very proud of me and my new hobby. He thinks I am a natural and of course loves everything that I paint. Don't get me wrong if its a jacked up painting he lets me know. I love his honesty...sometimes.
Anyway I hope that you all have a very happy Friday!

Freedom is not free!

It comes at a price. We send out loved ones out to fight for everything that we as Americas claim our own. I want to send out a special thanks to Tanner, Joey, and Richard. We love you boys so much and thank you for everything you do and have done for my country and family.

Some moms would be horrified to hear that their children want to go into the armed forces....I have come to realize that this just may be Potato's destiny. He is surrounded with such great men that I should only be proud if he chooses that life for himself.
I know I am leaving a few faces/names out but you are always in our thoughts.
Both of my grandfathers served and now are no longer with me....I am proud of them and what they have done for my family!
Happy Veterans Day!

Twin Sister Product Review
Tweet
I was all to excited when I was contacted to do a review for Twin Sisters Productions.
Twin Sisters has been awarded the Dr. Toy's 100 Best Children 's Products and Early Childhood News Director's Choice Award, among many others.
The company is owned by two fraternal twin sisters that are dedicated to their company as much as they are dedicated to their relation ship as sisters. Kim, started out as an early childhood educator and decided that music was very important in the classroom. Her and her
sister Karen got together an wrote a song to help Kim teach her class multiplication. "Rap With The Facts" was the start of their new destiny together.
I requested The Ultimate Early Learning Collection. What a book!? It came with four cd's of music and colorful pages. It covers letters, numbers, animals, color, and shapes. I could not wait to dive into this book with Potato.
After just a day of going over the material Potato was able to pick out the "red apple" and
"blue ball." Quite amazing really. The cds are very upbeat and cover everything in the book
times 10!
Its not very often that you run across a company that is completely focused on your child. Twin
Sisters is determined to help you build the solid foundation your child needs for their future.
Please go and check out what they have to offer.

Elmo Live!
I felt so bad that I had not taken Potato's birthday off like I had last year. In my defense it was horrible weather and we wouldn't been able to do anything. No matter next year no matter what we all will play hookie. I guess that will be a Randolph Family Tradition! ;-)
Nana called me a few months ago and told me that Elmo was coming to town again and she wanted to know if Potato would like to go.....is she crazy! LOL! Of course he wants to go! DH and I had taken him a while back to see Elmo and friends and he really enjoyed it so I knew this time would be that much better.
What a great birthday gift for my little two year old! I have to brag when I say that he was most definitely the best baby there. There were babies/kids screaming, hitting their mommies, running around (while the parents scamper after them), and well it was just craziness. Meanwhile, my Potato is sitting in his Nana's lap with the expression of "What the HELL is wrong with this kids!?"
All in all the show was incredible and we all had a fabulous time. Nana and Papaw you rock!

Happy Birthday Clayton!
Dear Potato,
It seems like daddy and I have lost a whole year. How did time fly by so fast? I have been an emotional wreck today!
After I shot the photos below all three of us sat at the dining room table to have a piece of your cake. We sang Happy Birthday and I swear I saw tears in your eyes. I am not sure why because you had a smile on your face. I told myself it was because you feel so special. Mommy cried while cutting your cake, while daddy looked at me in fear. ;-)! Hell I cry as I write to you.
Each month I list all of your accomplishments and well this month you have definetly grown. I will make note of them all in a later post.
It feels like I am flashing back and remembering the morning we ran to the hospital. Sunday, November 2, 2008 daddy and I were lying in bed being lazy. You were a few days overdue and I was so exhausted. Daddy leaned over and laid his head on my belly. He figured he would have the first man to man talk. It went a little like this:
Daddy: "Son it's time to come out! You need to come and see us today."
Potato: You kicked the freaking crap out of me. We heard a loud pop.
Mommy: I ran to the bathroom because I had to pee. Well after about 6 wardrobe changes because I kept peeing on myself we realized that you had busted the water bag.
The rest doesn't matter until I saw your beautiful face and kissed that nose. You were all daddy and I had ever hoped and wished for in our lives. We thank God each day for adding your to our family.
I hope you had a great birthday baby.
Love Mommy and Daddy!
