St. Patricks Day

On Saturday, March 17th the Randolph Family had a wonderfully beautiful date day.

We had lunch at Jason's Deli and it was a first for Tater and I. Then we hit Harbor Freights for some goodies for Tater.

I know this post is late but I am just getting around to my blog.

3rd Annual Friends Christmas Party

December 16 marked the day of our 3rd Annual Friends Christmas Party. I get so excited around this time of year and since we are all usually running around to our families houses and our business Christmas parties Mr. Randolph and I need to make sure that we always set aside a special night to celebrate the season with our friends.

The planning almost always starts months in advance with just hammering down a day. Then we start getting the menu together in the month of December and it usually changes so often. I mean if your dog eats a special cake mix you bought for cupcakes then you have to change the menu! You laugh....it happened!

We of course had the famous Candy Cane Martinis and they were a big hit. Nanny Wheazy has skills when it comes to making fancy drinks. She won't drink them though, lol.

There a few new couples and co-workers that were able to make the party. The more the merrier. It made for a lot more work but I am a great hostess and that is my duty. When the presents started getting handed out the excitement began. We were very proud of Tater Man because when the guest arrived and handed him a gift he would promptly bring it and place it under the tree. Mr. Randolph and I were in shock because not once in the past 3 years have we ever had to fuss at him for messing with the presents under the tree. He is such a good boy.

He was also acting a little shy this night and reserved because there were people there he did not know. Tater Man had a sit down talk with Uncle Kris about being courteous and always thanking the nice people that bring you gifts. Since he is a very spoiled child we thank God for him learning that being thankful for what you already have it whats most important. 

Uncle Kris always will to give the Tater his life lesson!

I have been talking and whining about my old set of pots and pans for the past couple of years.  They were all scratched up and no longer non-stick! I hated them and made sure to tell Mr. Randolph each and every time I had to use them. Sorry honey! One of my favorites chefs is Rachel Ray and when she came out with a line of products I fell in love. I like the different colors she uses and her products are very well made. I was very overjoyed when I unwrapped this gift from one of my besties! Can't you tell!?

Tater was a huge help when it came to unwrapping!

After a few of the guests left the boys got all relaxed and the video gaming commenced. This was my cue to head to bed with my nice buzz.

I was very proud of my little outfit I put together!

Turkey Day 1- Wilson House

After leaving my parents house for Thanksgiving that morning we heading for an early turkey dinner at my brother and sister-in-law's house. They had such a spread. I guess you would have too since there were going to be 30 mouths to feed.

Mr. Randolph and I weren't too hungry so we did our visiting and I had my wine of course. It was so relaxing to be able to visit with the Tater Man while he playing with his cuz Jackscon(what he calls him)! They love each other and they played hard all evening.

I was able to convince Tater Man to get into the fun jump, which is no easy task. I think he had one bad experience that he holds on to. Thankfully after a few jumps with his cuz he was ready to play and loves to jump now.

When it was time to go it was decided that Tater would spend the night with Nana and Papaw. I headed to Wal-Mart to prepare for my Black Friday shopping and Mr. Randolph had a buddy come over for a gaming night.

We all had a blast and couldn't be more thankful. I have a third post about Thanksgiving because we had FOUR different celebrations. I only got pictures from three of those.

Turkey Day 1- Smith House

I always look forward to the holiday season. I believe I do better under stress and I simply love the madness of planning and partying. I know it’s not a piece of pie but I wouldn’t change a detail. That being said our holidays are hectic and sometimes cause rifts between Mr. Randolph and I.


It would be ideal to have everyone be able to get together for every holiday in one place and be able to get along. Well that is not the case (at least, not currently) for the Randolph-Smith family. So our holidays are spent running to each house making sure to get that quality time. Mr. Randolph wishes all would be happy and get along but he is also very tolerant and understanding of where we are in this madness.

Our family of three headed to my parent’s house for our first Thanksgiving feast of the day. My mom always has an insane spread although we couldn’t fully enjoy it because my dad and brother were working. They were so very much missed but thankfully we will be throwing ANOTHER Thanksgiving dinner sometime this week just for them. I know it sounds crazy but I love it! Plus we are having goose!

Since my mom is a photographer we always get plenty of family and Tater Man photos year round. How lucky are we?!?! It was such a beautiful day so instead of having to do shots in the studio we headed outside.

The kids made sure to be as difficult as possible but Momma being as talented as she is she got the shots we wanted and more.

After the photos we went inside for the feast followed by the girls chatting and both my Randolph men sleeping. We still had one party to go to so I could not have them being grumpy.

Back in April- Easter

I know that this is really late but so many memories I did not want to leave out!

On Easter morning the Randolph Krewe woke up and went to an early church service. It ended up being more wild than I thought but that is only because I am used to a more calm atmosphere. It was pleasant and uplifting.

After church we headed to my sister-n-law's, rents house, and we enjoyed a wonderful Easter Brunch. The toddlers enjoyed a little Easter egg hunt while the adults had there adult beverages. It was so nice to have Tater and my nephew, Jackson spend some quality time with one another. They really grow to fast!

After our visit we headed to my parents house and ate again. Crawfish and BBQ was on the menu. I got to love on my beautiful niece and nephew and watch them open many little presents from the Easter Bunny. I love watching their eyes light up.

When we got home that afternoon we were beat, to say the least, but just then Tater realized that the Rabbit had came to visit him....at his house. Oh my gosh! I am surprised that the kid did not go into a sugar coma with all the candy he had that day.

Happy Birthday America!

I want to send out a special thanks to the soldiers that still fight for my freedom. I also want to thank the soldiers that have fought and are no longer with us to be able celebrate.

Thanks to my Granfathers, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, my Lil bro and my best friends for your service to my country. I will be so proud of Tater if he decides to choose one of the branches that you guys are proud of! I have come to terms that he is surrounded by so many great soldiers that this could very well be his career path one day and Mr Randolph and I will only be proud and honor his decision.

I haven't been able to get Tater new embroidered shirts lately but he pretty much has one for every occasion so I am ok with that.....for now. Football season is just around the corner! Anyways I had a FB friend of mine make Tater this most precious shirt.

Tater is our little good luck charm so no need for the four leaf clover!
