Happy Anniversary Shipley!

I wanted to say Happy Anniversary to two people that mean everything to my family. We love Mr T and Dr Shipley so much.

We watched Mr T as he searched for the perfect woman. He found Cinderella over a year ago. All though this past year found Mr T overseas fighting for our country their love did not falter. Dr Shipley had a serious test placed on her....one that not many deserve in their life much less for the first year of marriage. To be without your husband for the honeymoon part of your life is a terrible thought. She persevered!

Dr Shipley came to be a sister to me and we all love her dearly. Now that her hubby is home a permanent glow is on her face.

Love you both!

Freedom is not free!

It comes at a price. We send out loved ones out to fight for everything that we as Americas claim our own. I want to send out a special thanks to Tanner, Joey, and Richard. We love you boys so much and thank you for everything you do and have done for my country and family.
Some moms would be horrified to hear that their children want to go into the armed forces....I have come to realize that this just may be Potato's destiny. He is surrounded with such great men that I should only be proud if he chooses that life for himself.
I know I am leaving a few faces/names out but you are always in our thoughts.
Both of my grandfathers served and now are no longer with me....I am proud of them and what they have done for my family!
Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Juice!

I am still in a daze from Thursday night! Mr. T and Dr Shipley made it back from their honey moon and it was a wonderfully perfect evening! They are such a beautiful couple and we are lucky to have them in our lives.

Ok so the evening was HOT, SCORCHING....incredible! Bar-b-que and booze made it all better. I have to say after having Potato I find that babies at a party just mean 10 times more fun.

Potato acted shy at first and then I all but shoved him in the pool and the party got started. With a cute three year old running around he was is heaven.

Music was played along with a few rated R conversations (whilst no babies around). A night to remember.

Mr T back in town!

Mr T came in on his 2 weeks leave from his second tour in Iraq! We got to meet them for dinner on Friday and none of the Randolph's could control their excitement.

After trying three three restaurants and each of them having an hour and a half wait we finally were able to get into Johnny Carinos. There were eleven of us so that is another reason why we were having trouble finding a place to dine. Potato seen his Parrain (Godfather), and stared...he had only been seeing him through skype. He he was though in person. Needless to say he dropped DH's hand and ran to him oooohing and ahhhhing. It was truly a special moment and I am surprised that I was not balling.

Mr T had a few heart to heart talks with Potato in the car about girls, guns, and sticking up for yourself. It was pretty hilarious. Potato listened intently.

Mr T and his wife Dr Shipley left Saturday morning for their belated honeymoon to California. They will be back in about a week and a half and we will get to see Mr T before he get ships back over for the rest of his tour. Not sure if I am ready to only be able to skype with my big brother.
