Back in April- Tater's first boat ride!

It was a beautifully hot and sunny day where our little family of three had no aspirations to do anything. I think I was born with wheels on my ass so this just would not work for me. I called my mom to see what they were doing and they were out crabbing!

I was so jealous because I was stuck at home. So being proactive I called to see if Tater's papaw was in town. Thankfully he was so I knew what Tater and I were doing for the rest of the day while Mr Randolph zoned out on video games.

We shot out the door and were so excited when Nana agreed that we should take their boat out for Claytons first ride. I was sad that his daddy missed it but I tried to get lots of pictures and video. Tater had an adorable life vest and really has no issue wearing it when we finally figured out how it was suppose to be worn!

When we got on the water and the boat started he wasn't to sure about it and decided that sitting with Nana would keep him safe. He started to warm up after a few snacks and loved pointing out all the birds and the alligators he kept seeing. We never saw any alligators but he sure had us going.

I wore my bathing suit in hopes of catching some rays. I was sitting in the front of the boat and Tater finally got brave enough to start walking around. Papaw drove us around and showed us all the huge shrimp and tug boats. You should have seen Taters eyes.

A couple hours and about a billion more alligator sightings Tater crashed hard. He started the bot ride in his Nanas arms and ended up napping with her. She just has the magic touch.

I can't wait for the next boat ride and maybe a little fishing since Clayton has become an avid castor. Maybe I can talk the hubby into going next te!

Back in April-Tater's 1st Movie;Hop

Hop!

Ok so the movie really was not the greatest but I really did not care. Uncle Joey was treating the Randolph Creux, his mom, and niece and I all to a movie. I was terribly excited because this would be a first for the little man.

He was so excited to be in a new place. I think he would have been happy just playing in the arcade all day....what two year old wouldn't? When Joey's mom mentioned snacks Kayla(Joeys niece) and Tater hauled booties to the concessions. If you know Clayton then you know that he doesn't say no to food nor does he share for that matter. ;-) I think he gets that from mommy!

They have such a cool little snack tray just for toddlers. A little bag of pahtorn, tandy, and duce! We had to sit in the very front of the theatre and that was not pleasant at all. I really did not understand what they place was this packed for a kids movie but who knows. The movie started and Tater lost all composure. He was amazed at how big the tartoon was and had to tell me everything that he was seeing. I did have a little tear but that is because I am a goober and cry at all his firsts!

Tater got a little antsy at the very end but overall both the kids were great and I was very proud. We hit up the arcade again and then headed home.

Here's to many more movies with my sweet boy!

such a happy moment for father and son

we know now what he really wanted to see lol

Happy 22nd Month Birthday!

Sweet Potato!

Mommy and Daddy want to wish you a Happy 22 Month Birthday baby! We love you so much!

I still remember seeing you for the first time and all I wanted to do was kiss your face and give you a hug. While you were in Mommy's belly you madeit a point to try and break my ribs. I guess there was not enough room in there. I do miss feeling your little kicks and tumbles. I miss having you with me everywhere.

Now you are a big boy doing beautifully at day-care.You have tons of friends that run to see you every morning giving you hugsand kisses (causing sickness but hey!)

This month we think you found your terrible two belt and have strapped iton super tight. I still can't believe it each time I see you roll your eyesor hear you sigh. I am sorry you have a rough life lol! Where did my innocent little boy go? Although you have established a little of your own dominance in the house each day without fail you are cuddling with Mommy on the couch. It's as if a little timer goes off in your head at 6:30 p.m. and all play stops and you are searching for my lap. I LOVE it!

We are going to be starting or at least a little more actively doing some cooking together. I want you to be involved in what we do and you love to help. You are pro at putting clothes in the dryer.

When we ask you what the doggy says you say "ruff ruff", cow- "MOOOO",bird-"feet" "feet." The last one is my favorite! Daddy and I want to say that we love you and thank you for all the joy and laughter you bring to our lives.

Wishlist Wednesday and Upcomming CSN Stores Product Review

Alright so we all know how important it is for a Mommy to have her coffee in the morning. It does not matter if you are at SAHM or a working mom; we all need our fix. Otherwise the world is in danger, right?

I have had the same coffee maker for the past 7 years and I think I need an upgrade. Don't get me wrong Mr. Coffee rocks and has kept my eyelids from closing the mornings when Potato decided that sleeping was for babies!

I have been back to work for a while now and it is so hard to drink that pot of coffee while doing the makeup, hair, dressing Potato and DH. It's a rough life and well most of the time my coffee gets poured and is cold before I realize I left it upstairs during the morning wake up call to my boys.

A remedy is what I am looking for and look at this cool toy I found.
Isn't it just sexy?! It's perfect for any mommy. One for the house and one for the road and no suffering through cold coffee. You know you want one!

Anyways I am also announcing that I will be conducting my first product review for CSN Stores soon. How 'bout that I am a big girl blogger now! I really can't wait to review something. Now I am on a search for just what Potato or DH needs/wants. I think with 200+ stores I should be able to find many perfect things. Make sure you go and shop around.

Harmonica Hoedown!...Kids got talent.

Ok so during Healing Week Potato had music lessons with Papaw. If you read my post about how our family is incredibly talented then the video below should be of no shock.

He loves to play the guitar but I had no idea about the calling Potato had for the harmonica. Its moments like these that a mother is proud.

First Words-Sticker

Potato had a great week at his Nana's and has been doing lots of arts and crafts(blog to come). Nana had to find a way to reward him and the best way is to feed him or give him a STICKER!

It's a new born Potato!

Since it seems to want to pour down cats and dogs all night I have decided to go through old photos. DH got a nifty scanner and I am uploading pictures that are only prints. I came across Potato's first professional pictures. Oh where did my little baby go?

Now I feel much better that I have these posted. They are just plain paper prints that is why they are not the best quality. No matter to me as long as I have them for my memories.

I love you Potato!

Have you posted your newborns photos?
