Blogger Fail

Its been such a long time since my last post. Sorry about that.

There have been weddings, baby showers, swim lessons, pregnancies, vacation planning, crafting, and painting, kickball league and much more going on in The Randolph Family life. I will try and get some pictures posted of each excursion.

I haven so terribly busy with my not-so-new job and life has been a little hectic with us trying to do remodels around the house and becoming debt free.

I am still reading all of you posts and I love watching your families grow. I hope you haven't forgotten about us!

May 2012 O'neal/Lee Wedding

To say it was gorgeous, amazing, or fun would be a serious understatement. It was a time where life stood still and Randolph and I were able to celebrate two of our very dear friends on one of the most precious times of their lives.

Houston was where it all went down......

My Sammy and Me!

Isn't he beautiful?!

June 3rd....not too long after the wedding we celebrated our 6 year anniversary....I think?! Yeah I am pretty sure.

Mr. Randolph's Birthday Party

This past Saturday night our friends(family) all gathered to celebrate Mr. Randolph's birthday. I am so glad that we always celebrate every ones birthday. Its very important to surround yourself with friends and family for such occasions. Our friends always gather for some sort of dinner or party for every ones birthday. It's not the gifts but the companionship that you miss when you don't celebrate your birthday.

I do my best, and sometimes fail, at making sure each person in our lives know they have a place in our heart. You never know when God will need you so celebrate each birthday, anniversary, holiday to its fullest.

Anyways..... ;-)! The pictures depict all the events of the night. Enjoy!

Our friends come in all shapes and sizes and we love them all.

His second wife! Wheazy takes better care of him anyways. She made his favorite meal, Chicken Alfredo, from scratch. How special is he!?

I loves my Nanny!

Cheese for Parrain!

We combined Mr. Randolph's birthday and CC's birthday. How special! Uncle Matthew loves his Princess CC so much and I do believe we will have to make it a tradition that they share a birthday party.

Future Mr. & Mrs. Kristopher O'Neal! Aren't they freaking adorable!?
Claire decided that her birthday present to her brother would be a cake.in.the.face! He is never spicious of her doing bad things so she was able to sneak right in there. HILARIOUS! Well at least we thought so, and then he chased her with the cake. Yep, we are all adults!

I had a get some loving from a few of my girls. They were nice and toasted so they didn't fight the camera shots like the smart ones do....Mishy and Wheazy!

Loves my Mr. Thevis!

PS. See that nice little cut on my eye....yeah I fell...on the floor...with my face...while sitting!

Weekend at the Camp!----a year ago?!

Wow, so I found this year-old post in my drafts. This from Mr Randolph's birthday celebration last year! Better late than never.

The first weekend in October we decided to celebrate Mr Randolph's birthday. Since the weather was beautiful and we took the Friday off we decided to take a three day weekend get out town. Our little family of three, two couples, and two of our friends decided we would go to Mr Randolph's families camp. The drive was only 2.5 hours and Potato did great!

We were ready at 5:30am Friday to start our three day weekend. Joey, had already started his drive at 3am. Way to early for me but he drives a bike and would rather not be on the road with a lot of crazies! One of the little towns just outside of the Enon has a Wild Life Preserve. We wanted to check out the prices and times so we drove in and Potato was all to excited to see all of the Eldafants(deer & ellk)! He was losing his mind.

As we drove up to the camp we saw our favorite sign "Nice and EZ." Potato only had a diaper on at the time because there was an explosion in the backseat on the way. I think he gets motion sick like I do. Anyway I took him out of the carseat and just plopped him in the grass. He was amazed by the huge front yard. Then he took off. Happiness does not explain what I felt.

After unpacking and deciding where everyone would bunk we all sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Mr Randolph and I ran to the grocery store for supplies. I mean what camping trip can you have without roasted wieners and mooshmellows?! ;-) The boys took the tractor out to gather wood for the fire. Potato did not care to ride the tractor....to loud. While they gathered wood, Potato and I went and played on the beach.

The water was extremly cold but he did not care. He just kept screaming WHADDA! I swear the child should have been a fish! We made a big fire that night and our two other couples rolled in after a long fight with traffic. It was so nice to see everyone.

The next morning I woke up and started making the mac daddy breakfast. Breakfast ala Kayla consisted of waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, and apple juice. I have never made so many waffles in my life. Everyone chowed down. Since they weren't able to see anything that night we took them all on a tour of the property and spent a lot of time at the beach.

Mr Randolph and Joey brought a few guns and we did a lot of target practicing. Lets just say I haven't lost my touch. Potato even got in a few rounds. He loves watching his daddy shoot the pow pow. I am going to have to pick him up some shooters muffs (ear protection). We all went to a buffet in town for lunch and then by Saturday night our two couple friends were headed back home.

Then my bestie came in that night. We greeted her with a big bonfire and mooshmellows. Sunday morning was a little bittersweet since it was time to pack up. Afte rwe cleaned up everything and loaded up the car, I had to force the boys to get going. We made it home to watch the Saints win the football game. What an incredible weekend and we can't wait to go back!

Supper Club ala Sammy!

Wow this is incredibly late but better late than never right? Sammy was our hostess and she made stuffed shells. It was incredible! I had salad for the side and Nicole brought adult slushies.

I am sad to say that Sammy was not feeling well and only stayed a few minutes before needing to head home. Thank God she only lives a few houses down from my house(where dinner was served). I had not being feeling well earlier that morning so needless to say that I was wore out from preparing the house for guests. DH was not able to eat anything because of his tonsil surgery and he was not too happy about that either.

Instead of our usual separation of the sexes where the men talked shop(video games) and the women talk about the men.....we all sat down and watched a movie. I did make it through the movie but had to go straight to bed afterwards. I think I was running a fever because my whole body hurt. I was not the social butterfly like usual and that ticked me off.

When I woke up the next morning I just knew I was seeing things. My kitchen, dining room, and living room were CLEANED! I got kinda teary when I realized that after I went to bed my friends had cleaned up all the mess. I mean everything. There wasn't a dish or a crumb left anywhere. I want to give them a big Thank You again!

Do you have friends that go out of their way? I am a very lucky girl! Here's hoping that I will have a great post about our next Supper Club meeting!

Trahan Baby Shower

Sunday was fun day for my pal Sammy, Potato, and I. We got all purtied up for the Trahan Baby Shower. It was beautiful!

I went to school with the Mommy-To-Be. I don't remember much about high school except my friends. I remember Abby and her boy(husband now) coming to my house for my 17th birthday. I remember the crawfish and the fact that everyone ended up wearing birthday cake instead of eating it like normal teenagers. Oh did I add that there were water balloons too!? One of my favorite memories.

Ok back to get back on track....even though high school is over somehow I keep running into Abby. DH is friends with her younger brother and he just so happens to married to my Sammy. Small world right?!

I had to have two baby showers because it would have been complete madness to try and cram everyone together at MIL's house. So I had a 'family' shower and a 'friend' shower. Abby was at my 'friend' shower and it was nice to catch up with her and discover that they were starting their journey to have a baby.

It is so special to be able to see your friends always stay near even though they are not in your everyday lives. Congrats to the Trahan Family!

Ok so I know you will love the photos because Sammy and I did not even try to coordinate but it just happens. Great minds think a like and it helps that we spend more time at each others house instead of our own.

The food was incredible at Abby's shower but my favorite was called 'cajun caviar'. I am not sure what all it consists of except for pepper jelly and crushed pecans. Lets just say that I could have sat down with the dish and ate it all by myself. I am not kidding!

Potato decided that mommy was taking to much time stuffing her face so he helped himself to several cookies off the banquet tables. I did not care as long as he did not break anything. Then after he ate he went and checked out the presents. He chatted with a few of the chicks and then took a nap. I guess its hard work to be debonair. Who knew?

Overall we had a blast and I can't wait to see that beautiful baby!
