Supper Club- Ala Nicole!

Wow I know this is incredibly late, but I did not want to lose this memory.

Saturday September 25 we had our monthly Supper Club meeting. If you remember that week had been crazy with Aiden (Gecko) being born and just that morning Cheyenne (Sweet Potato) was born.

It was Nicole's turn to cook and boy did she rock the house. She made....from.scratch....Chicken Alfredo! All I can say is that there was not a drop of sauce or one noodle left alive. DH is a serious Alfredo addict. Like I need to get him committed. So when he found out what his second wife(maid of honor at our wedding) made Alfredo for dinner I could not stop his drooling.

Everyone went back for seconds and somehow I was able to put a tiny bit in a little tupperware to take to my mom in the hospital. After dinner was over Nicole, Sammy, and I hurried out the door to go love on Cheyenne. Sadly Mishy was sick and was unable to attend. We made sure to kiss her double for her. While we were goo gooing over my niece the boys were at home geeking out over computer games.

The evening was quite incredible and one I could never forget!

Supper Club ala Sammy!

Wow this is incredibly late but better late than never right? Sammy was our hostess and she made stuffed shells. It was incredible! I had salad for the side and Nicole brought adult slushies.


I am sad to say that Sammy was not feeling well and only stayed a few minutes before needing to head home. Thank God she only lives a few houses down from my house(where dinner was served). I had not being feeling well earlier that morning so needless to say that I was wore out from preparing the house for guests. DH was not able to eat anything because of his tonsil surgery and he was not too happy about that either.


Instead of our usual separation of the sexes where the men talked shop(video games) and the women talk about the men.....we all sat down and watched a movie. I did make it through the movie but had to go straight to bed afterwards. I think I was running a fever because my whole body hurt. I was not the social butterfly like usual and that ticked me off.


When I woke up the next morning I just knew I was seeing things. My kitchen, dining room, and living room were CLEANED! I got kinda teary when I realized that after I went to bed my friends had cleaned up all the mess. I mean everything. There wasn't a dish or a crumb left anywhere. I want to give them a big Thank You again!


Do you have friends that go out of their way? I am a very lucky girl! Here's hoping that I will have a great post about our next Supper Club meeting!

Suppa Club! -- Travels.....

Mishy and Mr Kristopher are going on a trip to New York in a couple days so we had to reschedule/cancel Supper Club for this month. I was very bummed. Well last night we all got together for dinner but we weren't cooking.

We decided to hit the local Greek and Lebanese restaurant. I love this restaurant although your skin reeks of the garlic for the rest of the day. Potato's, Nanny, was not able to make it out for dinner because she was really tired. I miss her face!

I don't know how it happens but we are always the loudest table where ever we go. I'm sorry! I blame it all on Mishy because she used of her Disney Points and bought Potato some goodies. He got some bath toy characters : Nemo, Marlin, Dory, Pearl, along with a stuffed Squirt from Finding Nemo. Mishy also got him one of the coolest cups, WALL-E! Needless to say he did not need us for the rest of the evening.

The girls all got their fav.....HUMUS! The boys got their food and we ended up stealing off their plate. Fearless! Potato ate all the food I brought for him AND pita with hummus, AND tried daddy's gyro(lamb). He approved of everything except salad and gagged when I let him try the olive.

Potato got restless because he is a baby and needs to move around so I took him outside and we played in the grass. We were soon followed by the rest of the group. They all got their Potato luvin and I just had to get a picture or two by these statues.

All in all the night was wonderful and I can't wait for next month. Sammy is cooking!

Suppa Club! - Ala Michelle and Kris

Saturday night we had our second Suppa Club meeting. It was very much needed as a few of us girls don't get to see each other as often as we like and FB can only do so much. I missed my girls and well their hubbies are a huge plus.

We (Michelle and I) had a glass bottle of red wine and when we ran out of that decided that we would drink the rest of Sammy's "juice"! Michelle made fried rice with shrimp and well dessert was incredibly delicious.

After 5.5 hours of gut busting laughter the boys got wore out before we did so it was time to put them to bed. I can't wait for next month!

Suppa Club!

So to kick off what I hope to be a monthly tradition I had all the friends over for dinner. Thank goodness for my girls who helped me cook and clean! The night started at 6pm and did not end until 1am. We has one of Sammy's specialties: Lasagna! It was incredible. There was also french bread, cookie cake, and ice cream! While the boys geeked out the girls stayed at the table with the wine and cookie cake. Duh! I can't wait to see who will cook the next meal and what it will be....fried rice hmmm. ;-)!
