Yeah peeps! Tater and I are going to the beach August 14-21! A whole week of fun in store for the Randolph two!
Mr Randolph may be able to join us along with the other guys at the end of the week!
I am so excited and can't wait to be laying in the sun! I remember the first trip I took with the Randolph family to the beach. We headed to Destin, Florida. It was Matthew, his mom, dad, brother, Memaw, and me. We were a large group but boy it was a ton of fun. I bought my first bikini bathing suit on this trip. Mr Randolph helped me pick out a little black suit that I have no hope to ever fit in again lol.
It was also the first time I had ever been to the ocean and swam. I didn't really swim so much as I stayed on Matthews back while he waded through the water. There's SHARKS in that water.
You can just imagine how it's going to go when Tater wants to go in the water. I will let him but I won't like it. It also doesn't help that I am currently watching Shark Week on tv.
Now to worry about what I will need to bring. I have only had to pack for such a long trip with a Tater once and that was our Tennessee trip when he was 7 months. I am glad that I won't have diapers and bottles to bring but now it's extra undies and toys.
I am gathering all the items slowly but I am hoping to start packing soon so nothing will be last minute. I guess I like being over prepared.

Gazelle speed!
We did it again! Four accounts paid off and I feel like the huge weight we are carrying is getting lighter each month.
I found out other great news when I was getting the balances in some if the larger debts. One of our items has a payoff balance that is 700 dollars less than the current balance. So that means in September when we get an extra paycheck we will be able to hopefully eliminate that account. Yay for having assets!!
I also found out that one of our doctor bills currently holding at 2400 dollars was an error on the part of the doctor. We will only owe 200 or less once the error is corrected. A mistake in our favor! For the win.
I love watching the Debt Snowball method work. I find myself going over our account each day searching for areas we can cut back.
Since we are in Baby Step number 2 we are not saving anything. Dave Ramsey said that this baby step is dedicated to getting rid of debt. We are working on all the debt except for the house we are a couple steps away from that even though we don't plan on paying it off.
Mr Randolph is still on board with this system. It's not easy and it takes a lot if self control and dedication. I am proud to say that Matthew and I haven't fought about money for the past few months. It used to be the biggest fight, mostly because we did not have a plan.
Unfortunately there are a few that do not support this system and actually think I am nuts for working so hard. These are the same people that have dug themselves a huge hole and can't see the light. I have learned to not care what they think, but it doesn't stop me from showing them that it's working! Ha!
Next month we will be paying off the washer and then starting on a loan we took out. Stupid move, but this is how you learn right? After the loan is gone we will start hacking at the American Express. Evil card I tell you! We have zero balanced this card a few times in the past few years but it always seems to get a huge balance. I have chopped up the card and called the company to take off charging privileges.
I know some people have control when it comes to their credit cards but we are one of the millions that have none. So we eliminate the temptation.
Keep us in your thoughts and thanks for all your support and praise!

Three Decades!
I know that must sound like a long time but from what I hear it seems to fly by when you are having fun!
My parents celebrated their 28 year anniversary on June 2nd and are still going strong!
Mr Randolph's parents also celebrated an anniversary on the 22nd of July. Thirty years!
With that being said I wonder how the hell do they do it? How do you love someone unconditionally for that long?
When things get to hard it always seems easier to just pick up and leave. You wonder why your loved one makes things so hard for you. Then you learn it isn't always about you....the world does not revolve around Kayla. Imagine that!
Things worth having don't come easy and marriage has proven to be the hardest thing in our lives. We fight about money, Tater, hobbies, chores, and about a million other things!
Then you have those moments where you can't get enough of that special person. I am not sure where I am going with this post. It seems like a jumbled mess of thoughts. Sorry!
I know that I want to celebrate 30 plus years with Matthew and I hope that we make it through our trials with the same love that our parents share.
Sometimes I miss the sweet things we used to do, like writing letter in a notebook everyday. Tracing I love you with our finger on each other when we didn't want to draw attention. It seems like I miss these small things more than I know.
Hmmm.
Anyways here's to the next couple of decades!

Weekend Recap!
My weekend started at 6:30 pm on Friday. I am glad I got off a little early because I had to prepare my house for a party of women and children.
I am not sure why I killed myself cleaning since it was completely filthy by the end of the party. I guess that means we had a great time.
It was a Premier Jewelry show and I was the host. I don't mind hosting because I get free jewelry! I had lots of appetizers: chips and rotel cheese dip, crackers and hummus, cookies, cheese/meat/cracker tray, coffee, and wine. My friend Stevi brought and incredible chicken salad dip. We were bummed that Sammy did not bring her special stuffed croissants ;-(!
The "jewelry lady" did a spectacular job showcasing everything and did great on her presentation. Everyone had a good time and after a few of the guests left the real party started. I have learned that anytime something is held at my house I fully expect to be up until 2am. I was and even cleaned everything up afterwards.
The next morning I was up and about early because it was a Smith/Randolph girls slumber day. It's a LIE! There is no such thing as slumber when I am with my mom and SIL. These women have wheels on their asses and don't slow down for anyone! I do love them.
We started shopping at Old Navy then headed to the mall. Oh did I forget to mention that we had Tater, Monkey, and PUDDIN Momma. After Old Navy Tater was screaming for a snack, screaming! Growth spurt?
We fed them all and started scooting around the mall. You all know that nothing stands in the way of Tater getting his nap in and I knew that he was tired after we stopped at Build a Bear.
Who in the hell puts evilness like this in a store?!?! We went in because PUDDIN needed a Smurfette. Tater wanted everything in there and I was not spending that kind of money on a stuffed animal that he would never play with. Plus I genuinely hate stuffed animals!
After seeing huge crocodile tears and him simply losing his mind I drug him out of the store and stood out in the isle of the mall. It's lovely being one of those parents with one of those kids but they ALL go through it and lucky for him he lived through it!
I took him out of the buggy and put him in the stroller. Not ten minutes later he was passed out and I was happy. He slept for the entire time we were in the mall. It's amazing. Especially since one cousin pulls his hair and the other kept hitting him to wake up.
Finally we left the mall and headed home for some swimming. The kids had a blast in the pool with their Pap! My SIL just loved when I snuck her and threw her in the pool. Yep I am a bad seed and she makes it way to easy. I mean everyone knows not to walk by a pool unless you plan on going in, right?!?!?
We ordered pizza and played cards while the boys played in their tent. They were "camping!" I love it!
The next morning my friend came and picked me up and we took off to Lowes. It was time to get my yard together and he was the perfect person to help. We worked our butts off but finished it up beautifully! I am very proud!
Joey treated me to lunch, ouce-cream, and then a movie! Harry Potter was amazing and of course I cried. Mr Randolph joined us for the movie and I think he liked it. We headed home and I think I sacked out at 8pm. I was exhausted!
