Fresh Market w/Nana & Papaw!

After our Kids Workshop Build we headed to meet Nana and Papaw at a little local shop because they were holding their first Farmers Market.

Since it was the first one for The Cottage Shoppe the turn out was not so great. Meaning that there were only THREE booths. I felt bad for the owner of the shop but she also holds a big Art show in the spring and it awesome. I know that since a lot of the booths have to worry about licenses since they are selling food and I believe that is the issue. I truly hope that it becomes a popular event and brings in a lot of the locals. Who doesn't like a Farmers Market?!

Well Nana and Papaw visited two of the booths and bought sweet dough pies, granola, and fresh eggs. The third booth had a little lady painting flowers. I wasn't really impressed and this is because Nana is a painter and well lets just say that I have a lot of her stuff on my walls. (She just completed painting Potato's toy box but that is for another post. Lets just say it is gorgeous!)

I love walking around the shop grounds because there are so many photographic moments. This was the first time that I noticed that there were horses next door. Needless to say that is where we headed to show Potato. He was a little iffy. I guess so because those are huge goggies!

It was a beautiful day and I love going to this shop even if I can only afford to look around.

A Blog Design Revolution!

I not sure if you have noticed but there has been a lot of tweaking happing to my blog. I am proud to say that my blog face lifter is non-other than one of my girlfriends Mishy @ It's Mishy!

The more blogs I read the more little ting tings I see and like about the face of each. I used to sit and wonder how in the H E double hockey sticks did they do that?!? After many unsuccessful tries and very long chats on-line with my girl she was able to tweak each little detail.

I do have to say that one of my favorite details is my signature. It is my OWN! ORIGINAL! UNIQUE! SPECIAL! MINE! I actually cried when I seen this because she captured our family so perfectly, even the glasses on DH face!

Mishy is from New York and is "married" to one of DH's friends. She is a writer/editor for websites. She is incredibly talented and creative. I was so lucky to be able to tell her what I wanted and trust her to create something ten times better.

I love that she changed what was once boring page tabs into little flowers(that match my blog) and a cute font. I don't dare change anything without running it past her because nine times out of ten she has a better way of completing the task. Who am I to mess with the master or her masterpiece.

Please go and check out her blog and show her a little love. I luvs you Mishy!

PS Potato misses his Auntie Isshy!

Wordless Wednesday: It's Auntie Sammy's Fault

This is from a couple months back but I am sure you will all enjoy!

Mommy and Potato: 4th of July dinner @ Chilis

We did a full week of Mommy and Potato Moments at the end of May but I try and get in on the photographs when I can. It's not easy when you are the photographer and would much rather catch everyone else's special moments. I guess I get that from my mother (the professional photographer). Anyways....Here are a few moments my bestie captured for me!
